We appear to have forgotten that we have a news page. Please don't use the dates on this page as any sort of indication of whether this site is live or not. The IGDA (of which we are the Boston-area chapter) has some useful resources on their web pages, including a discussion forum just for us. Please stop by and visit some time.

The Advisory Committee is pleased to announce that Post Mortem is now the local Boston-area chapter of the International Game Developers Association IGDA), the non-profit professional association for computer and console game developers. For more information, visit www.igda.org. The IGDA is in the midst of a push to start groups like Post Mortem throughout the world. But where groups already existed, like Post Mortem, or Seattle's Sputnik, it made sense to join forces. The affiliation will help us to get the word out about the existence of Post Mortem. There won't be any noticeable change to Post Mortem gatherings, other than a pile of IGDA membership applications on the name tag table -- but IGDA membership will have no relation to Post Mortem attendance.
