As we threatened last month, we’ve switched over to WordPress for managing this site. There’s still quite a bit of work left to do, but it’s already close to being better than it was.
These changes will allow a few useful things:
- Easier site management for the committee — in particular, it will provide a way for more than one person to post information.
- More up-to-date information
- A place for the community to post relevant news and events
- A source for additional news besides our monthly announcements. This way we can pass on extra goodies (such as the MIT entrepreneurship forum below) without spamming the mailing list.
- An RSS feed so people can stay up-to-date without the list if they prefer.
